The Finance Committee has considered CSSB 100(FIN) am and recommends it be replaced with: HCS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 100(FIN) (same title) The report was signed by Representatives Larson and MacLean, Co- chairs, with the following individual recommendations: Do pass (6): MacLean, Larson, Hoffman, Grussendorf, Brown, Foster No recommendation (5): Martin, Therriault, Hanley, Parnell, Navarre Representative Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that the following committee substitute be adopted in lieu of the original bill: HOUSE CS FOR CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 100(FIN) (same title) 1993-04-26 House Journal Page 1541 SB 100 There being no objection, it was so ordered. The Speaker ruled that Amendment No. 1 through Amendment No. 10 were out of order. Representative Davies objected. The Speaker withdrew the ruling. Representative Davies withdrew his objection. Amendments No. 1 through 10 were withdrawn. New Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Brown: Page 24, after line 15, insert a new section to read: "* Sec. 143. The sum of $135,000 is appropriated from the general fund and $135,000 is appropriated from the oil and hazardous substance release response fund (AS 46.08.010) to the Dept. of Environmental Conservation for travel expenses necessary to maintain essential services in all department programs for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1994." Representative Brown moved and asked unanimous consent that New Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Green objected. The question being: "Shall New Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" Representative Phillips moved and asked unanimous consent that HCS CSSB 100(FIN) be considered engrossed, advanced to third reading and placed on final passage. Representative Brown objected. The Speaker stated that HCS CSSB 100(FIN) would be in third reading on the April 27, 1993, calendar.
